The individual is now placed on quarantine. The Gardens at Monroe received COVID POSITIVE test result for a LONG TERM REHAB resident. It has been a long 3 years and we know most everyone has been waiting for this day!! The biggest winner of all of this is our wonderful residents, who can now go through their day without a mask and can show everyone their beautiful smiles!!! We look forward to seeing your smile very soon!!!

THE GARDENS AT MONROE does reserve the right to change the mask policy in the future if needed to provide increased infection prevention to protect the residents who live here.

Please see the educational signs around the facility for more information regarding the risk and how to minimize that risk such as good hand hygiene.

The choice to not use a mask does come with the risk of possibly being exposed to COVID-19 or other respiratory viruses.

Please see a nursing staff member before entering any room that specifies these precautions.

Face masks or other personal protective equipment may still be required for residents that are under isolation precautions for other medical reasons.

Social distancing is no longer required!! Visitors can now attend group activities, special events, and be in the dining rooms!!!! Please come join our activity programs with your loved one!!.

Video calls with your loved one can still be scheduled in these situations by reaching out to our Activities Department. So, please help us remain mask free by not visiting if you are ill. Please DO NOT visit if you are not feeling well! Masks will be required if the facility goes into an Outbreak Investigation and masks will continue to be required for any area of the building effected.Temperature screening will no longer be required, HOWEVER, visitors are still required to sign in and out of the kiosk.
